About the Role

Hey there! We're Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital, a warm and bustling practice located in beautiful Camarillo, California. Since 1965, we've been passionately caring for dogs and cats, offering general services, emergency, and urgent care. Our full-service practice is equipped with the latest tech, including digital radiography, in-house IDEXX lab equipment, tonovet, ultrasound, and laser therapy. We also take pride in performing advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. As proud partners with Ventura County Animal Services, we're dedicated to making a positive impact in our community.

For new grads who join our team we invest our time to ensure you get the support time and guidance for your first job out of vet school. Our approach to bringing new grads aboard includes:


    • Structured orientation and mentorship program including 1-on-1 surgical training with Dr Khurana.


    • Opportunities for Zoom calls and round table discussions with other new and recent graduates.


    • New grad peer advisors for networking and support as you navigate your first DVM position.


    • Slack group discussions to connect you with experienced vets for case reviews connection and advice.

The salary for this position can range between $130 000 - $150 000 + annually for a 40-hour work week (4/10s) and will be determined based on previous experience skill set and practice type
